You know who you should have had in that film….

At the last count we have interviewed 64 people for the City That Rocked The World. But it doesn’t matter how many people we interview I know what I will hear when the film is finally screened, “You know who you should have had in that film….” It’s like trying to fit four pints into a one pint pot. Whether you like music from Liverpool or not there’s no denying this city has produced a lot of it.
My colleague, Tony starts six straight days of drama production on Saturday. Great script by Tony Lindsay and directed by Philip Wood. We’re shooting all over Manchester with a great cast and crew. It’s about Data Protection – who’s got your details…

Making Progress

Over the last couple of week we have been mad busy filming for the City That Rocked the World. We’re out of the sixties and into the post Beatles era. We’ve interviewed too many people to mention but one particular highlight for me was an interview with John Power in the Casa on Hope Street. He spoke about Liverpool music and his career in the Las and Cast. We have also agreed to film an acoustic session with him.
Our two drama productions are taking shape – with casting and recces in progress. Shooting will take place in the next few weeks.
